Put on your fanciest ears and get ready to celebrate, it’s Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary! While the actual anniversary may have been October 1, 2022, Disney is still partying until March 31, 2023. Come join Mickey and all his pals in their Earidescent new anniversary outfits as they take part in new magical experiences. New experiences include Beacons of Magic, Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcades, Character Statues and more.

Beacons of Magic

Special effects have been added to each park icon; Cinderella’s Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tower or Terror and the Tree of Life illuminating the night. 

Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade

A mini popup parade with Mickey Mouse and his pals in their earidescent best. Winding it’s way from Frontierland, around Cinderella’s Castle and then down Main Street, this parade is sure to delight. Often times, parade characters can be found on the train station balcony before or after the Cavalcade.

Character Statue Collection

These 36 statues are scattered throughout all four Parks and depict some of the most beloved characters and duos. The characters range from the classic like Mickey and Minnie, Pixar pals like Nemo and Dory to those out of this world; R2-D2. Each statue will interact with the  all new Magicband+ with voice and video clips. Be on the lookout  for the characters as you meander through the Parks.

Photopass Magic Shots

Who doesn’t want their picture taken in front of some of the most well known icons? But how do you make it better? You add in Magic Shots! These photos, sprinkled with pixie dust by Disney Photopass Photographers, include themed borders, confetti, balloons and more.

Celebratory Treats

Disney snacks and treats are amazing on their own. Throw in some earidescence and you’re “golden”. Special treats for the anniversary can be found at the Parks, Resorts and Disney Springs. Who could pass up a celebratory Mickey Bar!
